Why This Workshop Exists

We teach what we've done.
Not what we've read.

Most sales training is built by people who stopped selling. This workshop is different. Allen Weaver has led sales teams, managed inside sales operations, and built businesses across automotive, commercial real estate, breweries, technology, and more. Every framework in this room came from that work.

The result is a workshop that gives your team actionable strategies they can implement starting tomorrow. No theory without practice. No inspiration without a structure to hold it.

What Your Team Walks Away With

Four patterns. Built in one room.

The Activity-Driven Mindset playbook is organized around four interconnected patterns. Grow any one of them and the others follow.

Pattern 01

Mastering Your Craft

The mechanics of effective selling. Your team learns to read and adapt to the four behavior communication styles, work a structured sales cycle, and use a structured questioning method to lead honest, productive conversations with every prospect.

  • Four communication behavior profiles
  • The structured sales cycle
  • Structured questioning method

Pattern 02

The Story We Tell Ourselves

The internal game. Self-limiting beliefs are the ceiling most salespeople never name. This section helps your team identify the stories they tell themselves, distinguish false confidence from fragile confidence from grounded confidence, and show up authentically in every conversation.

  • Self-limiting beliefs and how they operate
  • False vs. fragile vs. grounded confidence
  • Authentic presence in high-stakes conversations

Pattern 03

Structure

High activity without structure is just noise. Your team learns to identify procrastination and creative avoidance by name, build KPIs that actually drive behavior, apply the law of diminishing intent, and time-block their ideal selling week so the right work gets done first.

  • Procrastination and creative avoidance
  • KPIs tied to behavior, not just results
  • Law of diminishing intent
  • Time-blocking the ideal week

Pattern 04

Support

No one builds in isolation. Your team learns to ask for help without losing face, hold each other accountable in a way that builds trust instead of resentment, and lean on the people around them so the growth holds long after the room clears.

  • Asking for help without losing face
  • Peer accountability that builds trust
  • Building a support system that holds

The NESH Framework

Everything runs on four words.

The NESH framework underpins everything in this workshop. It is not a slogan. It is the operating pattern of every high-performing person Allen has worked with across a decade in the field.

01

NO

Say no to distractions, to low-value activity, and to the reflexive yes that burns time without building revenue. Saying no is a discipline, not a limitation.

02

EGO

Confidence is required. Ego is the wall that stops growth. This work means staying open to feedback, to correction, and to the truth that you do not know everything yet.

03

STAY

Consistency is the separator. Most salespeople have a great week once. The ones who build careers do the work every week, even when motivation is low and momentum feels gone.

04

HUMBLE

There is no finish line. The skills that get you to this level will not get you to the next one. Stay a work in progress. Growth does not graduate.

What Teams Say

The words I didn't write myself.

He pushed me toward goals higher than I'd set for myself and held me accountable -- never overbearing, just a real partner in my corner. The biggest thing I got wasn't sales. It was more time with my family without sacrificing performance.

The greatest benefit was gaining clarity around what I truly wanted to accomplish, and a structured roadmap to get there. That clarity has had a lasting impact -- not just on my career, but on my whole approach to personal growth.

I have been coaching with Allen for the past year and I have learned a lot about myself. I love how Allen allows the creative questions and subjects to flow as that helps tap into the authenticity behind the goals. Allen will prompt with questions that are open ended and encouraged me to self discover areas that I needed to evolve from as well as some that didn't suit me either! Through coaching I was able to better identify and prioritize challenges and goals to keep me moving toward my goals in a realistic way.

When I began my coaching journey I was unsure of what to expect. Would I get along with my coach? Would I have similar beliefs and a set of core values that are the same? Jess did an excellent job asking me discovery questions and getting me lined up with Allen who not only was an excellent coach, but also became a close friend. The best word to describe Allen is positive. Every call he pours 110% of himself into what the discussion is about. He always can take whatever situation you may find yourself in and break it down into the steps needed for success. But how he does this is not what you'd think. Allen leads you to the answer by asking questions to figure out what steps are needed to be done in order for success to be the result. In asking these questions, you learn a lot about yourself in your responses. You realize that some of the answers or solutions you knew, you just didn't know how to arrive there, and that's what Allen provides. When you have a coach in your life who is able to come at situations with a completely objective point of view it makes a big difference. You can bounce ideas off someone who is strictly looking at the facts of the situation and develop a game plan from there. My biggest take aways from coaching are mindset, Self-Discipline, and Self-Talk. Allen can help you utilize these skills by casting a vision of what you want your career/life to look like. What you want to achieve and by when. Transforming your thought process is a task that is best done with an accountability partner, or coach. Allen provided the necessary encouragement and accountability to allow me to take myself from where I was. To a point that was past where I thought was attainable for me. The positive impact of this on professional and personal life was tremendous. If you are considering professional coaching, I would highly recommend Southwestern Consulting and Allen Weaver. If you approach coaching with a tremendous amount of humility. Followed up by self-awareness and dedication, and the ability to allow change to transform you. The investment is more than worth it!

Working with my life coach has been one of the most meaningful and truly lifechanging decisions I've ever made. When I first started, I felt scattered -- pulled in different directions and unsure how to make sense of everything I was thinking and feeling. He stepped into that chaos with patience, clarity, and compassion, helping me navigate my thoughts, untangle the noise, and understand myself on a deeper level. He didn't just give me direction -- he helped me find it within myself. Through our conversations, he guided me toward clarity about what truly matters, helping me uncover perspectives and truths I hadn't been able to see on my own. That kind of support goes far beyond coaching. Somewhere along the way, what began as a professional relationship grew into a genuine friendship. He became someone I trust -- someone who listens without judgment, challenges me when I need it, and believes in me even on the days when I struggle to believe in myself. Because of our work together, I'm a more grounded, confident, and selfaware version of myself. I'm clearer on who I am, where I'm going, and what I want for my life. I'm deeply grateful for the impact he's had on me, both personally and emotionally. I couldn't recommend him more highly to anyone searching for direction, clarity, or a true partner in their growth.

I'm honestly not sure where I'd be on this journey without you. You have an incredible ability to know exactly when to reach out and cut through the noise- it's like you have a homing beacon for what really matters. I appreciate you and your gifts more than I can put into words, you are a true blessing to me and to the many people you serve and the world is generally a better place because of you.

Who qualifies for the free workshop?

Any organization with a leader who manages a team of 3 or more salespeople qualifies to apply for the complimentary 90-minute workshop. Industries served include automotive, commercial real estate, breweries, technology, healthcare, and more. Allen customizes every session to the team's specific context.

How long is the workshop?

The complimentary introductory workshop runs 90 minutes. Extended engagements can run half-day or full-day depending on team size and objectives. All formats are customized in advance.

What does the workshop cover?

The workshop is structured around four core patterns: Mastering Your Craft (communication styles, the sales cycle, and a structured questioning method), The Story We Tell Ourselves (self-limiting beliefs, confidence, and headspace), Structure (KPIs, time blocking, and beating procrastination), and Support (asking for help and building peer accountability). Every session is underpinned by the NESH framework: No (say no to distractions), Ego (confidence not ego), Stay (consistency), Humble (stay a work in progress).

Is the workshop on-site or virtual?

Both options are available. On-site facilitation is available for Iowa-based teams and for teams in other regions by arrangement. Virtual delivery is available nationally. Allen works with you in advance to determine the right format for your team.

What is the structured questioning method taught in the workshop?

The workshop teaches a structured, five-step questioning approach for sales conversations: understand where the prospect is now, acknowledge and validate their position, surface the real challenge, agree on what needs to shift, and define how you support them forward.
